This home is located on Tripp Lake in Poland Maine. The location is idyllic in that it is very private, being situated down the end of a dead end dirt road. There is virtually no traffic. The waterfront location is on the lake but inside of a cove so there is little boat traffic in front of your camp as well.
Here is a shot of the camp taken from the boat. You will note the privacy that the camp enjoys from both sides. Wouldn't you feel great pulling up to this camp, knowing that it is all yours?
Here is a view of the cove taken from the deck. You can see that it is just about 30 steps from the deck to your dock and into the boat for fun on the lake..
Tripp Lake goes on and on. It is over 700 acres so you will have plenty of room to tow a water skier or kids on tubes. Of course it is not a bad view to enjoy on your boat with a cold frosty beverage either. The sunsets behind the mountains aren't too bad to watch either.
Tripp Lake is located entirely within the town of Poland Maine. It is easily accessible from Route 26, which is the main route up to Sunday River for winter fun. The lake is 735 acres and stocked with a good variety of fish, but there are always lots of Bass in Tripp. There are no motor size restrictions on any boats, but there is a restriction against personal watercraft, aka "jet skis". That makes Tripp one of the more quiet lakes in the area.
This 3 section dock is included with the sale. What is nice is that the end of a 3 section dock you have enough water to tie on your boat. The dock is made of standard components from Great Northern Docks so you can easily take it in and put it out yourself, or find one of the many local companies that service these types of docks.
This is a close up view of the front of the camp. You will note 2 stories of very large windows that face the water, so that you have a great view from inside the camp. Also the deck on the front is a conveninet spot for the grill as well.
This is a side view of the camp. This also gives a view of the deck that is off the back of the camp. This shot was taken from the driveway which is very large and can accomodate lots of cars. You should get used to the fact that you will have lots of visitors coming up to help you enjoy your new camp at Tripp Lake.
Of course no lakeside camp would be complete without a generous fire pit for roasting marshmallows. Imagine sitting out under the stars by the lake with a toasty warm fire.
This is another shot of the firepit that gives you an idea of just how flat the lot is. Because of the flatness of the lot, you will not be asking any of your guests to have to walk down a steep incline to get to the water. Ask anyone who knows, flat level entry to the water is a valuable asset.
Here is a beautiful view of the lake from the upper level loft area.
This is a shot of the kitchen. It is tucked under the stairs to the loft, and is surpsringly well equipped. The space for the kitchen is well thought out and you can serve a large amount of people efficiently from the counter that extends into the livingroom..

Here is the living room from a different angle. You will note that I had to shut all of the curtains to get these shots because there is so much light that can come in from those huge windows. The wood floors are in great shape too.
The table and chairs are included with the sale as well. They are in a great position by the large glass window. Imagine yourself drinking your first cup of coffee taking in that lake view first thing in the morning.
This is the master bedroom. It has one small window that faces the back. It is easy to close the shades and keep it very dark. When you consider how quiet and peaceful the location is, you could really sleep late in this comfortable room.
This oversized loft has slept up to 6 people in the past. It is one huge room in the upper level of the camp. Kids or the young at heart will love this area. It is only accessible up a flight of stairs that is best described as a ladder more than a stair case.
This is an oversized wood stove for the size of the camp. It is the only heat source for the camp, and is up to the task of heating the entire camp quickly. The present owners will also leave behind and electric space heater or two.
This is a shot of the fouton in the living room. It folds out to full size matress. All of the furnishings in the camp are included in the price. With that in mind you will not be under pressure to get the place furnished right away. You can just go from the closing table to the lake and enjoy the place right away.
